the RSP720 has a newer hardware revision of the PFC.
You'll note in my sup720 I have a PFC3A
5 Policy Feature Card 3 WS-F6K-PFC3A SAD00000000 1.0 Ok
the PFC3B has increased functionality and obviously hardware
based bugfixes that were not available in the first revision of the
hardware.
As far as I recall that is the only difference btw the RSP720
and the SUP720 other than the 7600 series is a 6500 chassis that
has the OSM modules in it.
Last I knew there was still a great deal of confusion inside
Cisco itself as well as the TAC about what is a 6500 and a 7600
and this causes some tac cases to be improperly routed.
