[nsp] 6509 + sup 720 + 6548v (inline power)cards: problems with switch fabric

Hello All,

Wondering if anyone has had similar problems ...

The 6548 cards are the "V" versions w/inline power, not supported by the
"native" IOS and therefore we are running under "hybrid catOS + IOS" ...

We are seeing intermitent errors like this:

%SYS-1-FAB_MODSYNCERR:Connection between switch fabric module 5 and module 9
failed

We have RMA'd the chassis, a sup 720 and 2 of the 48port modules.

We have been told to:

1. make sure both 2500w power supplies are powered up
2. make sure modules are screwed in firmly to chassis
3. make sure chassis is independantly grounded
