The cisco documentation says that the catalyst 3550 is optimized for only 8 routed (Layer 3) ports. Has anyone used the entire switch with separate layer 3 ports? I need a 48 port switch that can handle 48 layer 3 ports, is the catalyst 3550 w/ EMI capable assuming fairly low (< 10mbit) traffic on the interfaces or should I go for 2 24 port switches? Kenny
