[nsp] PA-1GE=: Packet discard

Beng,
in another mail to the list I specified the 'other ends'.
On my 7200 I have not any option to set the duplex operation for my
PA-1GE. I have only this option on my switches. I'm telling you this
because I always prefer to set my Ethernets interfaces but I never did
it with a GE.

200Mbps, but symmetric? I think that 200Mbps for a GE interface is to
lame :(

Thanks for your answer.

Regards,
Alejandro.

Depending on your "the other end" of GE, you might check the flow
control, and duplex setting. I personally prefer to set it than have it
auto.
You might need to test it first.

And anyway... PA-1GE is good for 200Mbps, due to the PCI limitation on
the PA. Nothing much you have do. same applied to the GEIP on the 7500,
that are not "real" 1Gbps GE.
