Your pointer confirm me following conclusion:

PIX 501    VLAN not supported :-(
PIX 506    VLAN not supported :-(
PIX 515    Supports up to 8 VLANs  :-(
PIX 525    Supports up to 10 VLANs :-(
PIX 535    Supports up to 24 VLANs :-(
