[nsp] MTU >1500 on 2900XL

i was able to run frames bigger than 1500 on 2924-XL, im passing
MPLS VPN frames thru a dot1q trunk. Everything is running well, there
is no drops with 1500 bytes DF=>YES, but the ports is still counting
giants error. May be this is a BUG.
