Subject: [nsp] Ethernet switch error messages

Does anybody know the condition that must be met for the following
error message to be logged in a 2924 switch:

%LINK-4-ERROR: FastEthernet0/5 is experiencing errors

The software rev is 12.0(5.1)XW

I'm looking for a technical answer.

The Cisco TAC technical answer indicated that "a lot" of errors
received may trigger the message!

I'm looking for a little more detail.

thanks,
Dan
