We're fairly happy with 12.2(18)S4.  

If you intend to do heavy tunnel usage, you might want to go to 12.3(6), 
as 12.2S misbehaves regarding TTL decrementing on CEF-switched tunnels
(which is supposed to be fixed in 12.3(6)).
