As the 2950 is a pure 2nd layer switch, you can only have one active 3rd layer
interface on it at any given time. The most logical and usual option is to use
a VLAN interface - in fact, I don't think you can use any other type of 3rd layer
interface on them, but I may be wrong on that one.
