[c-nsp] Fun with Portchannels

Hi,

i have been confronted with strange behaviour using the portchannel
Feature on 8.3(1) Catos on a 6503 with Sup2.

The members of the port-channel span 2 modules. The portchannel on
module 2 should be extended on ports on module 3.

When I'm adding the new Port to the portchannel after an physical link
has been detected everything works fine. However, if the port is added
to the portchannel when the physical link is still down, i'm getting (as
soon as the Link goes up):
 %SNMP-5-LINKTRAP:Link Up Trap -- ifName=3/13
%ETHC-3-ONMODEFAIL:Port 3/13 errdisabled, ON mode attributes mismatch
 %SNMP-5-LINKTRAP:Link Down Trap -- ifName=3/13

and the port is errdisabled.

Comparing Configs, everything is identical... Any ideas?

Channel-Mode is on, Trunks are off. Link-Partners are other Catalysts,
but with Juniper on the other side the problem exists, too.

Greetings,
 Thorsten
