CRC errors on ATM PVCs hint at "dropped cells". Usually this is because
the shaping parameters on the sending router don't match the policing
parameters in the network, and so the carrier drops cells.
It can also happen if the carrier network is saturated and can't transport
all the cells (remember: UBR = best effort, no guarantees).
