[nsp] OC12-SRP Question

I'm unfamiliar with SRP in general, and I was hoping that someone might
point me in the right direction :)

I've read a decent amount of the documentation on the website, but I'm
sure I'm missing something.

Can you have a two node SRP ring, and only use one side (yes, I know that
doesn't really make it a ring).

If so, do you need to loopback the other side?

IE:
Router A          Router B
Port A ---------- Port B
Port B -> Loop    Port A -> Loop
