The *hardware* has the necessary features to support MPLS. However,
there is no IOS release available today which gives you Cisco
supported MPLS on Sup720 (while it *is* supported on Sup720-3BXL).

which clearly state that MPLS (and EoMPLS) require PFC3BXL and
thus Sup720-3BXL.
Some people have reported success with Sup720 and MPLS - however,
as has been repeatedly noted on this list, this is currently
unsupported by Cisco, and TAC won't be able to help you with any
problems you might have.
