hello,

  multilink is a cpu intensive task.
You might want to consider CEF load-balancing.

  Traditionally CEF loadbalance was woking on 6 paralel paths, but
there was an enhancement to utilize 8 paths.

Dear All,

We have faced problem of high utilization on one of our router 7206 NPE
whenever we run Multilink with 8 E1
and cpu utilization was reaching 85%-90% and same came down whenever we we
shut down the multilink.
and also same work perfectly as 8 seprate E1 without multilink.

Note: We are using Multilink for loadbalancing.

Can somebody suggest what could be the  reason or encountered same problem
