FWIW, the function is in the parser in recent 3550 code...

switch#traceroute mac ?
  H.H.H      48-bit hardware address of source
  interface  Interface on which this source mac exists
  ip         Specify ip addresses

Haven't (bothered) testing if this works, though :).
