[c-nsp] 2950 Performance Problem

I have a couple of 2950 switches in my data center that we are evaluating.
I am getting terrible performance on them.

Basically what we do is each port on the switch has a server plugged into
it. Each port is also on its own VLAN (as each server has its own 8 host
subnet). Port 24 of the 2950 is set as a trunk and is trunking up to a
6509. Spanning tree is turned off for all of the VLANs.

The problem I am having is that I am getting terrible performance. Total
throughput to the switch is about 12Mbps. If I put a 3524 there with the
exact same config I can get it up to 90Mbps. I have checked for duplex
issues and there is no qos being used on the switch.

The configuration is very basic except for the 1 vlan per port thing.

Any ideas on how to improve the performance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Joe
