Jeff,

You might try with 12.2(2)T or later, see http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios122/122newft/122t/122t2/ftpppoec.htm
Unfortunately it doesn't list 2500 as a supported platform. Nor does the Holly Feature Navigator.

Subject: [c-nsp] Using Cisco 2500 as a PPPoE Client?

Is it possible to use a Cisco 2500 as a PPPoE client for a wireless
broadband connection? So far I have gotten an IOS that has PPPoE support
(12.2) but it appears to only be a PPPoE server.
