Check to make sure VTP is set to transperant or client.

Subject: [nsp] vlan timer traceback?

Howdi,
 anyone seen this before on a 3500XL running 12.0(5)WC8 / 12.0(5)WC9a

not all my switches on those ios's exhibit the bug which is odd, it
occurs at a frequency of a few seconds to a few minutes, it doesnt
appear to disrupt anything and seems to coincide with STP messages (but
not all and with no obvious reason)

Jun 17 12:58:30: %SW_VLAN-4-BAD_VLAN_TIMER_ACTIVE_VALUE: Encountered
incorrect VLAN timer active value: already active when started
-Traceback= 2BA080 2BCF6C 2BCDDC 2B74A8 2B9C24 1E9410

searches in bug toolkit yield nothing, on a stack decode i get several
matches which are all on routers and unrelated to stp

Steve
