Vincent,
Putty most certainly does support the backspace character, well at least it
does on release 0.53b and 0.54. We use putty for all IP terminal emulation
including SSH etc...

Dale

Hi list,
please accept my apologies for the off-topic question, but I think that you
can easily give me a hand: how many among you are using PuTTY
(http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/) as a telnet/ssh client?
I need to convince a vendor that its product should support 'backspace' key
in PuTTY, and not only with the lousy micro$oft telnet client...
Vincent
