I Need Help!!!
We are doing PPPoA thru the local Telco (Frontier/Citizens) and are having
some weird problems with a few customers maintaining
connectivity.
When the PPP session drops the modem/router (Speedstream 5200/pppoa) on the
customers end still shows a DSL link light and has to be power cycled to get
a new connection. SNR is in the lower 20's and Attenuation is in the upper
teens.
The telco has moved the customer to a different DSLAM and Cable Pair and the
problem still persists.
We are using a Cisco 3640, 128/32, NM-8T1-IMA, with two ATM T1 circuit using
IMA at one IMA Int. and VPDN.
PPP traffic is forwarded from their 7200 routers over a VPDN tunnel to our
3640.
Is there a keepalive command that might help this problem???
Help!!!!
Mel
