Subject: [nsp] Why couldn't cflowd collect netflow data from 6509?
Hi,
I set up net flow exporting on catalyst6509 of our network as below:
On layer 2 configuration prompt:
set mls 10.11.12.22 2056
set mls enable
and On layer3 configuration prompt:
ip flow-export source Loopback0
ip flow-export version 5
ip flow-export destination 10.11.12.22 2055 ( there is another cflowd
run and collect netflow data from a m160 box)
And, I set up cflowd on my linux box with file size 1GB and the number
of file is 20.
When exec 'tcpdump -n udp port 2056' , it shows catalyst 6509 is
sending udp packets to udp port 2056 continuously.
I started cflowdmux and cflowd, but after about half an hour, the
content of cflowd files contains nothing.
I changed NDE version to 8 the result remains the same.
Why? and how could I make it work?
Regards
Jing Shen
