The Sup2 will take a > 512MB chip > as well, but its overkill. Grrr... Don't be a wimp. 512mb is manly. Seriously, it is overkill. Most people aren't going to have that large a routing table on an MSFC2. At least I've never seen it. Does the CAS rating of the RAM make a difference in performance on an MSFC2 (or any Cisco product for that matter?)
