Or, since EoMPLS was mentioned, he may simply want a "port mode" Martini
tunnel. Connect a VLAN trunk to an MPLS PE router, on the PE router
configure xconnect at the port (interface) level, not at the VLAN level.

We have several of these, and they work fine - even between Cisco and
Juniper :-)
