Hi all,

Was trying to qualify if our core network supports Triple Play services implementation or not and found many documents confirming that the access layer has to be IP based DSLAMs. This means that ATM and TDM DSLAMs - ISP edge devices - has to be replaced to be able to support Triple Play services. Was wondering why is it a must to have IP based access layer and why can't I use the TDM and ATM DSLAMs (access layer) already deployed ???

Karim.
