Just FYI:
The problem I had with ISIS was that the route was in my bgp table as both
external and internal, however the internal route was the best path,
therefore it did not install it in ISIS.

Yes, thanks for the information guys. This does indeed look like my issue.
One question: I have the same issue redistributing ebgp into ISIS.
Is there a similar setting under the ISIS process?

I run into Tim's problem only one hour ago while reenginieering our
network and saw that neither "bgp redistribute-internal" nor a
redistribute bgp 1234 metric x x x x x
seems to work but a "default-metric" does it for me while trying to
redistribute *eBGP* routes into EIGRP.
