[c-nsp] Cisco 3660 decompress error

I had a similar problem once copying an image onto 2 flash sticks,
After replacing everything, downloading several images, trying tftp ftp xmodem and everything
else I could think of I resolved it by using /noverify

Ie copy /noverify tftp flash

This disables verification of the image after download.

Regards
Brian

I have tried three different flash modules with no luck, and I also did a tftp boot with no luck as well. The problem seems to be with the size of the IOS image, 8MB or less will boot, greater than 8MB will not.

Why don't you try replacing the flash modules with ones known to be good.
Or, if that isn't possible, don't boot the router from flash. See if booting it from the network works.

I have downloaded this image and several others and checked the size and
the checksums, all check good. The image that will boot is less than 8MB
and the images that will not are greater than 8MB. Any thoughts?

Try to verify the checksum of the image.
