We just started to offer DSL to our Admin staff and the first user that
is on the DSL is experiencing connection loss.
Topo looks like this: Cisco 2621 ATM T1 ---- Telco ---- DSL ---
Actiontec gt701wg -- PC. This is what the telco sells the customer so
that's what I'm stuck with.
Setup the modem and everything worked for a week or so. Now the DSL and
Internet lights go off and has no connection. Unplug the power from the
GT701wg and replug it in and it all comes up and works for an hour or
so. Then goes off line again. Power cycling fixes the problem each
time. Has anyone else seen this problem or know of a bug?
Router config looks like this:
interface ATM0/0
description Circuit ID xxxxxxxxxxx
no ip address
no atm ilmi-keepalive
!
interface ATM0/0.32 point-to-point
description xxxxxxxxxxxxx
pvc 1/32
encapsulation aal5mux ppp Virtual-Template1
!
!
interface FastEthernet0/0
ip address x.x.x.x 255.255.255.0
no ip mroute-cache
speed 100
full-duplex
!
interface Virtual-Template1
ip unnumbered FastEthernet0/0
peer default ip address pool IP_Address
ppp authentication pap
!
We are running ver. 12.2(11)T11.
TIA
Scott
