Hi,
and another problem with 12.2(25)S ... IP(v4|v6)-over-IPv6 tunnels were
configurable and even working in 12.2(18)S5 (on NPE-G1), but are not
on 12.2(25)S anymore (on other boxes with NPE-300/400, but that should
make no difference)
12.2(18)S5:
interface Tunnel301
ip address 10.254.1.1 255.255.255.252
ipv6 address 2001:1B10:1FFF:FFFF::1/64
tunnel source Loopback10
tunnel destination 2001:1B18:202::3
tunnel mode ipv6
works, on 12.2(25)S (same featureset, Provider-Image)
ROUTER(config-if)#tunnel destination 2001:1B18:202::3
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
ROUTER(config-if)#tunnel mode ipv6
% Incomplete command
(Incomplete being accepting ipv6ip)
Is this intended? There is no IPv6-over-IPv6-Tunnel in the feature
navigator, and the best match (IP-over-IPv6) is only available in 12.3T,
so it shouldn't have worked with 12.2(18)S in the first place.
Bernhard
