Hi

Thanks everyone for the help with the Ethernet/FE problem.

I have another question. If we run a point to point GRE tunnel between
two Cisco 7507 RSP4s, each with at least two VIP2-50 cards, what kind
of forwarding performance can we expect to get? No encryption or
compression will be done for this. We can do dCEF GRE right?

We have come up with the idea that a Juniper M5/M10 with the Tunnel
Services PIC is a good way to do this (~1Gbps per PIC?) but since we
already have a network full of Cisco gear, why not make the best out
of it.

Thanks!

Best Regards,
