[c-nsp] CISCO-BULK-FILE-MIB/CISCO-FTP-CLIENT-MIB

I'm using these two MIBs to collect bulk statistics from some routers.
In tests, using 'copy flash:file ftp://user:pass@server/testfile' takes
around 3-11 seconds for a 600k file on the router in question (40% CPU,
semi-heavily loaded). Using the FTP-CLIENT/BULK-FILE MIB to copy the same
600k file (but not from flash, from memory as generated by BULK-FILE) takes
a long time (over 2 minutes).
Are there differences in the way the command line FTP client operates to the
SNMP FTP client, or is there some difference in the way bulk files are read?
I need this FTP to be a lot faster than 2 minutes. Are there any
optimizations for BULK-FILE/FTP-CLIENT?
Is this a difference in the scheduler for command lines/SNMP tasks?
Cheers,
Chris.
