Hey all,
I have a couple of switches which combine layer 2 and 3 ports.
The switches are connected to each other using a layer 3 and OSPF for
routing. all works well.
Question is, is there any way to connect a port on Switch-A which is in a
VLAN, to a port on Switch-B which is in the same numbered VLAN - using the
layer 3 link between the switches.
I know how to do it using a trunk between the switches, but in this case,
ports are extremely rare and if possible I would like to do it over the
existing layer 3 connection between the two switches.
Thanks for the help guys.
