7206 w/ NPE-G1 would be a short term upgrade at your growth rate stated.
I'd look more at a 7604 or 7606 with Sup32 though. A 7604 with two
Sup32's, two power supplies runs about $40k LIST and will give you 16
active gig-e ports.
