[c-nsp] Required hardware question

What didn't work with the 3550?  Trunk, Vlans, routing, ????  Seems like
the logical choice.

I have two 4507s trunked back to a 6509, which is trunked into our 
backbone. I need to connect users into another switch behind one of 
the 4507s. That switch must perform routing, provide multiple VLANs, 
and trunk back to the 4507.

I didn't have any luck using a 3550, although I may have overlooked 
something.

What device will work?
