[c-nsp] Where did the giants come from?

Weird issue.. invisible giants?!

At the slot controller level no giants reported:

LC-Slot6>sho cont | inc giant
   0 tgiant, 0 mcast, 39 bcast, 0 tpause, 0 tisl, 0 tiq
   6616759 r1023, 5699152 r1518, 28658404 r1548, 0 rgiant, 0 rcode

But at the interface level; giants reported..

sho int g6/0 | inc giants
     Received 37582 broadcasts, 0 runts, 4924221 giants, 0 throttles

Changing MTU’s and such doesn’t help.. this is on a GSR 12008 running
12.0(28)S2.. and no traffic seems to be lost, I’m of the mind these are
ghosts more than giants.. 

Anyone seen this before? Thanks!
