In a pinch we have used a 5300 to terminate a MLPPP bundle in a remote
pop when the existing 2600 series ran out of Serial ports.  A couple
T1's for incoming dial, and a couple ip t1's.  Works like a charm.

Not sure how you would get PPPoA into one though, as I don't remember
seeing an ATM port adaptor for one.
