I'm getting old, indeed...  (oh the fun of having searched for the odd
10base2 issues for many weeks, then to give up and convert everything
to 10baseT -- just to find that one of the BNC cable segments that we
removed was not 50 Ohms but 90 Ohms antenna cable... of course the 
problem manifested about 10 machines further along the cables)
