hello,
when you say to "The Access point doesn't actually * route *",
you talk about to that only it can work like a Bridge?
can the AP work like router?

The access point doesn't actually *route*, but it can seperate traffic
using VLANs and then trunk them to a L3 device, which can route between
the VLANs.
