You can change the config register to prevent using the break key which is
needed for password recovery.

I would tend to agree on John's comment. I would make sure that you REALLY
hard about disabling the console.  I would just suggest that you use the
conf reg to disable the break key upon boot up.  I would be careful changing
passwords on devices that you can't break into.

No problem. Fill the console port with epoxy. Once that stuff sets up,
consider it disabled!

I would think long and hard about doing that, though. :)  Do you
*really* want to completely and permanently disable the console port?
