What you really need is the 9000 watt power supplies they are coming out with :).

That's the difference. With 2500 you run in redundant mode rather then
combined mode. In Redundant you can loose a PS and still be up.

We have two in there, but it appears that it could run on one. From the
info below, the Sup 720 itself only needs 315W.
