You could also get a bunch of telnet sessions going at the same time and
continuously run show commands.  VTY sessions take up a lot of CPU
compared to just moving packets.  Try squeezing flash too, that's CPU
intensive.  I'm not sure if it will generate enough load, but is
certainly easier than trying to create more traffic on your network...
