We're trying to troubleshoot why the FWSM in our 6513 just rebooted. So
far, we haven't been able to determine a reason. I have no idea if it's
a bug or a hardware issue at this point so I thought I'd check to see if
anyone here had any ideas. Here are the logs from the 6513:
15w1d: SP: The PC in slot 8 is shutting down. Please wait ...
15w1d: SP: PC shutdown completed for module 8
Mar 28 09:21:09: %C6KPWR-SP-4-DISABLED: power to module in slot 8 set
off (Reset)
Mar 28 09:23:09: %DIAG-SP-6-RUN_MINIMUM: Module 8: Running Minimum
Online Diagnostics...
Mar 28 09:23:11: %SVCLC-5-FWVTPMODE: VTP mode is set to
non-transparent
Mar 28 09:23:11: %DIAG-SP-6-DIAG_OK: Module 8: Passed Online
Diagnostics
Mar 28 09:23:11: %OIR-SP-6-INSCARD: Card inserted in slot 8, interfaces
are now online
And that's it. The FWSM doesn't provide any useful information that we
can find, e.g. reason for last reload.
The 6513 is running 12.1(23)E2 and the FWSM is running 1.1(3).
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
John
