I've got this config on my PIX 515 running 6.3(4), and DHCP works:

dhcpd address 192.168.10.101-192.168.10.120 inside
dhcpd dns 192.168.10.91 192.168.1.3
dhcpd lease 14400
dhcpd ping_timeout 750
dhcpd domain acme.com
dhcpd enable inside

Do you have DHCP relay agents enabled on your internal routers/layer 3
switches?
Try testing DHCP from a port on the same subnet as 192.168.1.29-32.

Thanks,
 Mark P.

Subject: [c-nsp] PIX DHCP

Hello all

I have configured a PIX 525 with 6.4 code fro DHCP but it is not
providing IP addresses to the clients. Configuration is as below .

dhcpd address 192.168.1.29-192.168.1.32 inside
dhcpd dns x.x.x.x
dhcpd lease 3600
dhcpd ping_timeout 750
dhcpd domain x.x
dhcpd enable inside

Static clients work fine.
Any help will be appreciated
