Not really.

The 4948 is positioned primarily for the server farm and top-
of-rack solutions. Why would you want SFPs for that?

The 3750 is positioned primarily for the (high-performance,
low-density) wiring closet. Why would you want SFPs for that?


The real question is why there is no 3750 Metro with two 10G
uplinks and 12 or 24 SFPs? I don't know, but it sure would be
neat.
