Yes.

Memory (the RSM can not take enough memory to run full BGP tables).
No IPv6.

BGP should be present in just about anything available for the RSM.
I'd recommend using 12.2(latest), but we've been using 12.0 and 12.1
on the RSMs in the past, and never seen any issues.
