The 4948 supports 32K MAC addresses.  It's overkill for your other
requirements, but the lower end switches won't do 20K MACs.  It's also
smaller/cheaper than most 4503 configurations.

But I too am wondering why you are putting 20K machines(?) on only two
VLANs?  Sounds like broadcast city.
