[c-nsp] Console port and how to limit it

Hello list,

 

can you please confirm my feeling: when console logging is enabled, CPU
stops to ensure logging output (and basically, the router stops doing
anything interesting to take the time to give detailed explanations at 9600
bps to a possibly absent human operator)? 

 

If this is the case, is there a way to avoid this (without disabling console
logging, which I find useful)?
