Hello.

I have 6509/Sup2/MSFC2 with SFC-2 card running IOS 12.1.26E1 native mode under two full-view BGP tables, netflow export, and average traffic rate at 50-60 kpps.
For some time all works just fine, but after 1.5-2 months, strange messages appeared in logging:
Oct 28 17:33:03.555 MSD: %PM-2-LOW_SP_MEM: Switch process available memory is less than 583588 bytes
Oct 28 23:36:57.905 MSD: %SYS-SP-2-MALLOCFAIL: Memory allocation of 65536 bytes failed from 0x4010399C, alignment 4
Pool: Processor Free: 136296 Cause: Memory fragmentation

The ``remote com swi sh proc mem'' command returned that SP have 530K of free memory, and ``CEF IPC Background'' process is holding 130 MB. After short time, router have stoped forwarding traffic and after reload, all works fine again.

For now, I discovered, that CEF IPC Background process in SP allocates ~20 KB of memory every 10~50 minutes, and grow at 200~700 KB per 24h.

Anybody know how to fix this?

Thanks.
