right, i dont have these configus, thats why i have RPR mode enabled not 
RPR+

So i will need to configure them, upgrade IOS, do i need to reload any 
module or the whole chassis afterwards ?

How do i determine if they are active or failed, if i remember correctly, 
they should be Active ?
