Noticed something a little odd on a 2650 doing DHCP, running 12.3.18:

Any idea why that one entry has a lease expiration of 'Infinite'? It's
automatic, and I have no static mappings configured. I see a couple
entries that have no ethernet identifier (01) in front of the MAC
address. I'm assuming they might be BOOTP clients. But they do have
valid lease times. Just doing a little more research before I hit
'send', I think I found the answer. It looks like a DHCPDISCOVER message
can contain a request for an infinite lease. Is it possible for the IOS
DHCP server to override this, and force this client to renew like
everyone else? The clients are a mix of Windows workstations, and
Polycom and Sipura SIP devices. All these subnets are connected to this
router.

Thanks,
