Have you tried Cacti? http://www.cacti.net/
I use Cacti across multiple sites on local FreeBSD servers and from
our box inthe office over VPN's to graph ultiziation on pretty much
any Cisco device I can get my grubby hands on. It may take a little
bit more work to get working but its well worth it, opensource too.
